C.O.W.S. to Sponsor 3rd Annual Big Sausage Jeep Run

The Community Organization Working for Stewardson has announced plans to make the 3rd Annual Big Sausage Run even bigger and better.

The event is to be held Saturday, June 22 and is promoted as a Jeep Run, but all vehicles are welcome, rain or shine. The fun begins with registration at 11:00 am at the Stewardson Community Building. The Run starts promptly at 12:30 and will return at 6 pm.

Back by popular demand, the smoked foot long rope sausage meal will be served starting at 6 pm. New this year is a Beer Garden. Live music will provided by The Sampson Jones Gang and Zach Linley & The Rebel Dare Devils. Raffles and drawings will be held all day.

The cost for the Jeep Run is $10 per driver and $5 for each additional passenger.

This year’s run is in memory of the late Don Everett who devoted many hours to the Stewardson Volunteer Fire Department and the Community Organization Working for Stewardson. All proceeds will be split between the Stewardson Volunteer Fire Department and C.O.W.S. for the restoration and beautification of Stewardson
