New Christmas Lights for Stewardson!

Published by admin on October 27th, 2011 - in Fundraising

Downtown Stewardson will be decked out for the holidays thanks to a donation from the Community Organization Working for Stewardson. At a recent meeting, the group awarded $3,000 toward the purchase of new Christmas decorations to grace the street lights along Main Street.

But this is just the beginning of the project. At almost $500 per light, the $3,000 donation will only purchase 6 lights. A few local businesses have answered the call and have pledged to purchase lights to decorate street lights in front of their businesses. You, too, can help. If your business would like to donate to the cause, please contact Kris Renshaw. Individual donations will also be gratefully accepted. Struggling for Christmas ideas? C.O.W.S will send a note that records a contribution has been made in honor of a loved one.

Help brighten Stewardson for the Christmas holidays!
